I have successfully setup and installed Tbird on my new Windows 11 computer. Now all I need is to recover my contacts from the old computer's Acronis 2020 backup. How to do that and/or what specifgic file to search for and recover. I have attached a jpg of the Acronis screen.

I have just used a saved email address to write an email. When I went to send it the send failed because the from account was an old account I do not use anymore.

How do I change saved email addresses so they do not use the old account.

Why would this happen.

I checked which account I was using at the time and then repeated the process with the same result. I was using my current account.

I just installed Thunderbird 154, but i cannot find the address book. i know it exists as T-bird does preload my addresses when i create a new email. Is there a button that I am not seeing?

I did a import "contacts"from my gmail account to thunderbird. I would like know how I can get an automatic synchronization on Thnuderbird when I add a new contact form my gmail account on my Android smartphone. Thank you very much for your help

Trying to set up a mailing list for emails. Not sure how to set up a group that I can use to list names and emails. Went to help. Instructions said to > open address book > select file > new > mailing list. I went to address book ok but cannot find 'File' there.

Am after assistance in getting mailing list set up.

My computer had corrupt files on it, so my computer guy had to reinstall windows 11 & all my other folders to my computer. I re-installed Thunderbird with the new version 154.0 & all of my old emails are there but NO email addresses or contact addresses I had saved in there. Please help! Can I download an older version of Thunderbird 139.0.2 from June 17, 2025 for all of my email addresses to be there & contact addresses?

My brokerage firm states that it cannot notify me via email for conformation transaction. How do I add this firm's domain to my address book so that its emails will be received my me?

Is this still possible in Release 153 because I cannot find how using this suggestion:

Open Thunderbird, click the Address Book button, select the specific contact list, go to Tools > Export , choose Comma Separated (.csv) as the file type, and click Save.

I updated t the latest version of Thunderbird but since then none of my email addresses were changed with the update. Tried all the advice on line but still can't retrieve my saved email addresses from the inbox and sent box

I utilize a program to scan business cards and need to add these contacts into my contact list in Thunderbird. I know how to add them if the VCF Card is received inside an email as an attachment, but I do not see any instructions on how to add it if it is found locally on my computer or received by text, etc. Thanks in advance, Ken

When creating a new message and entering a name in the “To” field, all email addresses for the recipient are displayed for selection. - Order as in the address book - The one marked as “Default” is neither the first nor identifiable as such.
