cannot open or delete emails on google mail and youtube videos will not play. Had this problem a month ago. It's Firefox because I have no problem using MS Edge which I hate.

Firefox is the default browser and pinned to the taskbar. When clicked, Firefox automatically opens places an additional icon in the taskbar. Once Firefox opens, in the second icon, any new links open in tabs, which is my preference.

The first image is the pinned icon in the taskbar. When hovering it only displays Firefox. The second image is the additional icon, when hovering over this icon the active page thumbnail is displayed.

Prior versions of Firefox did not have this behavior on my Windows 11 desktop PC. I've tried various settings in about:config but cannot resolve this issue. Is there some reason two icons are now required in the taskbar when running Firefox?

How do I enable syntax highlighting when viewing the mark up of a web page, using the "view-source" functionality of the current tab.

It no longer works for me, I need to use this feature so I can find errors in my HTML markup.

Does the "view-source" feature have any optional settings available to the user and how do I find them using the about: option

Rất mong cộng đồng hoặc đội ngũ phát triển có thể chia sẻ thêm thông tin về việc liệu tính năng này có nằm trong kế hoạch phát triển tương lai hay không, và nếu có thì dự kiến khi nào sẽ ra mắt. Using version 88.0 and browser - both outdated and not supported. How can I update to newest version and browser? I am 80 yrs old and not computer literate. Please keep it simple. No human help is available - I am alone.

Latest Firefox release update wiped out my bookmarks. Tried to restore a saved HTML version - and it says "this file doesn't include any bookmark data". (This is a "Firefox HTML Document" property type, saved using the BACKUP feature on w/n Firefox itself - using "manage bookmarks".)

Two QNAP NAS displayed readable web pages this morning. Early afternoon I updated Firefox with a reset and the admin pages on both servers are unusable. How can I roll back Firefox or recover the earlier version?

Anybody else notice that when using the back arrow on some sites, it just won't stop back-arrowing? I mean, usually, when you have reached the very first site opened in the current tab, the back-arrow will grey-out and become non-functional. But some sites are allowed to embed an instruction which causes Firefox to just keep on back-arrowing indefinitely, without EVER greying-out the back-arrow; it just keeps on re-loading the same initial web page. The yelp.com website is a good example of this behavior. Firefox should prevent sites from embedding functional-override coding which causes the browser to behave abnormally like this. Another functional-override example are websites that, DESPITE having a global Firefox browser setting to NOT auto-fill fields, the site causes Firefox TO REMEMBER the data anyway, and then to re-display the data at the credentials step as a pull-down menu underneath the Username field and, more often, the 2FA field. Haven't seen any site yet override the no-auto-fill setting for the Password field, however...luckily.

Netflix stopped working with Firefox saying that an update is required. My Firefox and OS (Win11) are completely up to date.

Firefox crashed. I am trying to get it to how I had it before this. One of the problems is the new tabs thing. I know about CTRL-T, I have not used it. I have used the + on the tabs for years. I know, big deal, it's just inconvenient, interrupts my train of thought to switch, which is no big deal. But if anyone has a moment and can answer, it would be a blessing for me. Thank you.

I keep asking. I don't want to, but I am going to use another browser that I don't like, that does have the + as I keep hitting the y key to open a new tab. I am not well, cancer has me. My eyes are bad, and I could use some help, Thank you.

Hi It isn't really a question, but it get to know and learn how to use Firefox efficiently before I converted from Safari to Firefox. I knew much more in Safari than in Firefox. Once I know more about Firefox, Firefox will be a default browser in my desktop,mac. Thanks Ted

Hello! Why do I get all of the Tools Menu in english when I've chosen Norsk Bokmål as standard language for my use at sites/streaming etc. What is the purpose of selecting the desired language if the tool options are only displayed in English?

I have a folder/subfolder, Old Firefox Data/ukn05f6l.default-release, on my desktop created 11/30/2024.

Any ideas what it is? It is huge...940mb.

Can I delete it?
