Upon opening an e-mail I get 3 windows shown-e-mail itself, technical information in second windown and the e-mail itself to forward etc. dont need second wind

After opening an e-mail 3 windows appear. Then e-mail itself-a second window showing the technical information related to the e-mail---source code, sender, etc. and the third window showing the e-mail message. Want to close the second window, with technical information, and merely retain the sender information and the message itself. How do I correct this problem? Thanks for the help.
