Site locking browser, preventing from closing it
I recently came upon this site: http://politie.nl.id169787298-7128265115.*.com/
It looks like the average scam site, but this one is different. It locks the browser. The tab cannot be closed, the browser cannot be closed either. How can this happen- firefox is supposed to be safe?
The only way to close is using taskmanager.
edit: removed the link to access the malicious site directly. (philipp)

hello aeii, open a new tab & enter about:config into the addressbar (confirm the notice). in there search for the preference named javascript.enabled and double-click it in order to change its value to false. then it should immediately be possible to close the scam-site in question. afterwards turn back the javascript.enabled preference...
