Facebook dings when browser is not open
I just updated my Firefox desktop browser yesterday automatically. I stay logged into Facebook all the time but I only do so on my computer and I don't use the messenger. I get the Facebook dings whenever I get messages even though my browser hasn't been launched. I use Facebook's mobile website on my 3DS and was able to make the correlation through it.
