Slide show of photos attached to an email does not work. But does work in Safari. WHY? How do I fix?

My I-MAC now has OS 10.6.8 installed. Now pictures attached to an email will not operate in the slide show feature available on email. However, the slide show will work fine in Safari. What is the answer and how do I fix? Firefox 11.0 is installed.

Can you please try clearing cache and cookies; Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox Also please make sure your plugins are up to date: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ Also if the 2 above don't work try Use Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox as add-ons could be causing this.
