Firefox 8 asks for password for Intranet

Users running Firefox 8 are unable to access our Intranet SharePoint site. They are being prompted for a password when it should be taking their windows password like IE does. I have tried changing the keys that were mentioned across the Internet, network.automatic and network.negotiate but it's not making any difference. Please help

As described in my post, I've done all that and it's still asking for the password.
