realplayer downloader has stopped working with 8.0 firefox, why

I have a 8.0 version of firefox mozilla, and I am not sure whether the updates for this system have affected my realplayer downloader which don't work anymore. I have contacted the realplayer support, who have told me to use internet explorer instead, because it works with it, but I would prefer using firefox as all my bookmarks are with you
