I did a google search on mikemary. Now every time I open firefox my home page comes up in the first tab and google search on mikemarry comes up in another tab. Help!!

A week or so ago I did a google search in my firefox browser for mikemary. Every time I open firefox now my homepage comes up in in the first tab but a second unsolicited tab comes up at the same time with the google mikemary query. How do I fix it?
