Thunderbird App Keeps Crashing
Hi,
I use Thunderbird for Android, version 24.0. It downloads emails and attachments just fine, but whenever I try to use it for more than about three minutes, it will crash and say "Thunderbird is not responding", and I get sent back to the main screen.
I have Android version 16, One UI 8.5. How can I share my logs with you? Thanks.

Hi Justin
Please open an issue ticket on github and attach your debug log to that. https://github.com/thunderbird/thunderbird-android/issues.
Remember to redact any sensitive information from the log before posting it.
If you know a sequence of actions that produce the crash, I may be able to advise you if the crash is known about and point you to an existing ticket.
It created a text file, but I don't see any data in it. Is it supposed to be that way?

Hi Justin
The log should contain entries.
To confirm the process.
- Under debugging, turn on the "Enable debug logging" option.
- Replicate the behaviour until the crash occurs.
- Open the app again and return to the debugging page.
- Select "export logs" from the three dot menu and save k9mail-logs.txt.
You don't need to enable sync debugging or sensitive information. When exporting the log, you want to select "Export logs" not "Export sync logs"
If you still find no data in the log, you can try from a pc using the ADB Option B method in the guide.
