Can't get into my Spectrum email account through Thunderbird

This forum is the only avenue. Please post error messages and screenshots of server settings pane and someone with suggestions may respond. thank you..

I am having the same problem. Caught between a rock and a hard place!! Spectrum will only take responsibility for their website only. If the email is working there then they have no answer. But two weeks ago my email was out for 4 days. My son who has a degree in computer science stated that the problem was with Spectrum!!! He stated all I could do is wait!!! Well I did that and it finally came back and worked fine for a few days. But has been out again this last week for three days and is still out. My only alternative is to leave Spectrum. You would think that they would look at the customers leaving from them.
