Problem with Firefox Version 152.0.5 64bit

Hi, I have been using Firefox for Windows for almost three decades. I have an ASUS VivoBook with a fully patched Windows 11 Home Edition 64bit operating system. Firefox is my default browser, with Microsoft Edge as the back-up should things go awry. Well, they have with this Firefox upgrade. It effectively blocks me from using my NordLynx VPN. There is no connectivity at all if I have the VPN on. If I pause it, then no problem. What gives? This has never happened before.

Nord VPN has already been given permissions through my Windows Defender Firewall. So how and why are you programming a solid wall against my utilizing it's functionality?

I would like your input before I start hard troubleshooting, since this is totally on your end.

Hi,

Oh well, at least I updated my Firefox account and changed my password.

Oops... While I was browsing subjects in the forum, my NordLynx VPN restarted, as I had it on pause for only 15 minutes. I had some functionality in forums, but none when I tried to connect to one of my bookmarked websites. But the error message did inform me that where I was trying to go was governed by Cloudfare. I don't like them. And then I remembered that I had changed a setting in Firefox about a year ago. I had selected 'DNS over HTTPS.' So, I reverted back to default. Voila! All is well, the sun is shining, and the King is back on his throne.

Problem solved...
