I upgraded to 143.2 on iOS 26.0.1, but I cannot access any swipe tab gestures, which I assume means I can just swipe left and right in address bar to move between tabs.

I now know, why some are privileged: They have the part with the URL at the bottom of their screen. It works then. I created issue 31500 for this.

Hi there,

You're right! You can now swipe directly from the toolbar to move between tabs. See the attached notification to see what we're releasing in 143.2.

This functionality is not present, though, for me in this version. I can NOT swipe the toolbar to move between tabs.

I'm on iOS 18.6.2, but I can do the swipe gesture just fine (see my screen recording). Can you restart the app and try again?

I can't see the screen recording without signing into a Google account.

I've tried the function repeatedly. It's not available for me.

Apologise about that. You should be able to watch it now.

I cannot get swiping to work :(

I see in the video that others are more privileged ;)

To be clear the toolbar used for swiping is what I attached as an image, right?

Hey Ormek,

Not really, but it's the part above it. Please see my screenshot attached.

Looks like one of the engineers confirmed that the tab swiping gesture only works when the address bar is set at the bottom.

Thanks for taking the time to file the bug, Ormek! I'll see if we can make it clearer with a documentation.
