Lost tabs in Simple Tab Groups

I lost the tabs in all my groups, so I restored from a recent backup. It seemed to be going well - I saw the names of dozens of tabs rattling across the top of the screen - but when it had finished, the groups are all still empty.

This is disastrous. There were dozens of groups containing hundreds of tabs..

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Unfortunately lost tabs from a crash or sudden closing is lost as there is no way to find them beyond looking at your history to find them again. This is what tabs or sites should be bookmarked to prevent lost tabs should this occur.
