I am using Firefox 124.2 (40108) on my iPhone with iOS 16.7.7 (20H330) and using DuckDuckGo as the default search engine. Loading settings with their Cloud Save service does not work as expected: the settings reset each time you restart the app.

How to get DuckDuckGo settings to persist across sessions in the app?

I solved this problem for myself by allowing third-party cookies.

Go to Settings > Cookies and Site Data > Manage exceptions. Add duckduckgo.com as Always allow.

Then, enter your passphrase. For instructions using Cloud Save go to https://duckduckgo.com/duckduckgo-help-pages/settings/cloud-save/

Note that this has worked for me and might not work for you.
