I am looking to see if it is possible to utilize Thunderbird for a very specific use case on macOS. We would like to use Thunderbird as an email reader only essentially - we do not want new email addresses to be added nor do we want the existing account to be edited. Is there a way to disable making changes to the client, or at least disable making changes to the accounts added/disable adding new accounts to the client? Locking these options behind an admin prompt would also work. Bonus points if this is all manageable via a .plist or .js file. Thanks in advance!
