I use Zenfolio for my photography business. It is running very slow from log in to using the site for my business. This is the only site that I am having problems with. They do not see anything on their side that could be causing any issues. I am having this on any browser that I use but prefer Firefox so not worried about those.

I have cleared all history, I have deleted the original bookmark, I use MacKeeper but have checked with them to see if that might be the issue, I am not sure what else could be impacting the site. I need to try to find a fix or I will have to move my website somewhere else which means a complete rebuild.

Any ideas?

Show the issue and provide screenshots and steps to replicate. Do you have the same issue with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode?

Steps to replicate are I go to https://www.zenfolio.com, click "log in" and watch the page take 45 seconds to over a minute to bring up a log in page. When I enter my log in info it takes over two minutes to open my site. When I try to navigate my site it takes 30 seconds to a minute to load the page. This is regardless of which browser I use...Firefox, Safari, Duckduck, etc. This doesnt happen on any site except Zenfolio.

I can reach the site from my wife's PC in Google Chrome with no issues and clients can reach the site and navigate with no issues. I have this same issue on all of my Apple devices but not with any other website.

How do I show the issue...blank pages showing the loading spinner? How will screenshots of a blank page help? I am not trying to be a smartass...just dont know how that explains it any better than me saying it just takes forever to use the site now.

Yes, the same thing happens in Troubleshoot Mode.

This sounds like an issue with getting to the site and you mentioned that it happens in other browsers and not just Firefox. Let me see what happens. Are you in the US? Who are you using for DNS? What security software are you running? WiFi or LAN?

Also, what version of mac? What version of Firefox? Can you also run the cmds in the screenshot. see screenshot ping -c5 zenfolio.com traceroute zenfolio.com

The site has good response and is just 11 hops from me on the east coast of US.

You can look in bottom left corner of the browser during page load and see what's going on. Do you have the same issue with Firefox in TroubleshootMode?

You can check the connection settings and check for possible issues with a Proxy or VPN service.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a Proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
