Without knowing what you mean by 'archive' on your particular web host, there is no confident answer to give. It's easy to test. Why don't you use the process you call Archive, apply it to a few email messages that are not important to keep, and see what happens. Identify where the host server puts them. Then see if that folder appears in Thunderbird, or if you are using IMAP, perhaps choose to 'subscribe' to that archive folder from within Thunderbird.
