I want to move my Firefox profile to a new phone manually, without using any cloud storage. Basically my questions are: 1) Can I just copy the profile folder to the same location on the new phone? 2) Where is the profile location?

I tried five or six different search queries, but couldn't find a guide on this.

I posted this question for Firefox for Android. How did it end up in the wrong support forum?

Also, why does it have the wrong tags and system details? How can I correct them?

On mobile you do not have direct access to the profile folder like on desktop, so you need to use Sync or use an app on mobile to transfer (clone) all data from one device to a new device via a local WiFi connection.

I have a google-services free Android 10 variant. Most apps allow me to export their settings to a file, so I can synchronize them with syncthing. But Firefox seems to lack such an option (or even an Add-in). Which open-source apps can access the profile data so they could transfer it?
