Widevine Content Decryption Module on a Mobile

I'm trying to watch video on my Android (Fairphone 3) in Firefox. I get an error message saying that DRM is not enabled and I need to add Widevine Content Decryption Module.

Widevine Content Decryption Module is not available in the Addons/Extensions when I search for it.

I Google it, advice says go to Options/Preferences to enable. Neither Options nor Preferences are in the menu on my android device.

I cannot fine any youtube videos, screen shots or advice on where the Preferences/Option I am supposed to got to to enable/disable Widevine actually is on an Android.

I have clicked the three dots in the top right and been through EVERY menu option in there several times as I wonder if I am loosing my mind. Help please.

Hi

I have had a look and this is a feature that is still being worked on for the new Firefox for Android. You can follow progress on this work at https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/1175

Hi

What is the website where this is happening? I have been using the new Firefox for Android for a while now and I have not seen this issue when playing videos.

It's amazon prime.

Thanks, can't believe so many sites have moved over to requiring it with such poor support on the browsers. They say patience is a virtue.
