Thought it about time I synced my FF with my Android Samsung Galaxy A40 running android 9. I have a FF account so tried to sync using the FF settings on the phone as per the FF guide. This takes me to the "about:accounts?action=signin&entrypoint=awsomescreen-signin" Then all I see is the blue rotating circle for the next xx minutes until I close it down. Tried numerous times and cannot get it to the next screen. Any suggestions?

If you have have disabled cookies in the privacy settings the login into firefox wont work, just enable cookies for the login. After the login you can disable them again. Firefox has to use a cookie to log you in.

No luck so far, at least with FF anyway. I select FF on my A40 this then brings up a screen: 'Sign in confirmed. You are now ready to sync FF. Start Browsing'.

I select Start Browsing and this returns the information that there is no internet connection and to try again. This then brings up the 'Sign in confirmed. You are now ready to sync FF. Start Browsing'. Round and Round we go! The phone is connected to the internet, I opened FF Preview no problems except this only seemed to open something called 'pockets' confusing....... Something is amiss somewhere, but I do not know what! why should FF say no internet connection when there is a good connection?

By the way I enabled cookies on my A40 except for tracking
