Compact folders at shutdown, because it keeps asking me at startup.
Would it be possible to make an option to "remind me to compact folders when I leave Thunderbird" or something like that? It is annoying to get the Compact Folder question when I first open Thunderbird when I know I will be deleting a lot of email. Setting the Compact Folders Question to allow, Compact Folders when I leave Thunderbird would make thing much easier. It is like suggesting washing the dishes before I have eaten the food on the dishes. The timing SUCKS.

You are probably compacting often because of a bug that shipped a few weeks ago, that we hope will be fixed in the next release
