Are you going to bring back RT News? Are you not a browser for freedom?

Since the Quantum update RT has not been available as an addon, consequently I'm running 56.0 so I can have RT. I originally started using Firefox many years ago due to my perceived perception you might just be a free browser and not answeable to outside forces, it seems I was wrong which is very disappointing as I do like your browser. When you stop support of 56.0 and RT is not back on quantum then it's goodbye, there are other browsers.

The vast majority of Extensions being hosted on addons.mozilla.org are made by a third-party author or company. Mozilla is not the one that makes or maintains the RT News extensions on A.M.O

When was the last time you searched for rt news on addons.mozilla.org ?

The RT News extension author has had a new version marked compatible with Firefox 57.0+ since March 5th.

Almost all of the Extensions Mozilla makes for desktop Firefox is posted by this account https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/user/mozilla/

OK guys thanks for your speedy responses I'll give it another try sometime although it was only yesterday I tried.

Could it be that what you tried yesterday was the old RT News version  ?

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rt-news/

Easy to confuse with this :

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/rt-news-quantum/

Maybe, all I know is I typed RT News in to search for add-ons and RT wasn't there. Thing is, when I reverted to 56.0 I lost all my bookmarks so I did a sync with my other laptop, got my bookmarks but lost all bar four of my saved passwords so I'm loathe to try again right now. I'll give it another shot sometime, thanks for your help, Regards,

Aww, yesterday wasn't your lucky day, was it  ?

That new RT News will work, you'll see  ! You give it a try when you're good and ready.

Best wishes and regards.
