Hi Tucsonjj,

Please try to avoid sharing personal identifiable information in a public forum, the information could fall into the wrong hands.

There are two things that can be done, but please first understand that Firefox sync is not a reliable source of a back up for Firefox profiles.

If there was another device the Firefox account was connected to, make a back up of that profile. Manually back up and restore Firefox profile data

If there is not, I am sorry, unless you have access to the profile folder from the previous computer, there is not a back up.

Hi, I think my first issue is that I cannot login to my Firefox... if I could, then I might already have the bookmarks/passwords saved... no? Not sure, but my 10 year old dead computer may have used an old email address that I no longer have, to first use Firefox... and none of my current emails work... so... might be SOL?? Thanks for the help!

Hi Tucsonjj,

Logging into Firefox Sync now requires a verification email to login to a new device. Access to the email address would be pretty vital. Apologies.

If you can find the email address , do you keep all your email? You could filter and find one of the emails to confirm which account it was.

Thanks, but it was an old MSN.com email I no longer have... guess I just rebuild... :-(
