How do I keep the location bar from storing history under the blue drop down triangle after I close foxfire??

more options

Privacy under the Options section is set to "clear history after Foxfire closes" The history tab is clear, but the Blue drop down triangle still shows locations from previous sessions unless I go and delete them one at a time

Hmm, that doesn't make sense, since those entries are generally the most visited URLs in your history.

Are they sites you bookmarked? Unlike the dynamic address bar drop-down that shows a star icon for bookmarked sites, the triangle list (for lack of knowing its real name) doesn't indicate which sites are bookmarked.

Never mind on the bookmark question, I tested using a new profile and bookmarks that have never been visited or whose history was deleted shouldn't appear on that list, either.

On your Options page, Privacy panel, does it initially display: "Firefox will: Use custom settings for history" or Firefox will: Never remember history"? The main difference would be if the checkbox for "Always use private browsing mode" is checked.
