Updated to 45.0.1 and it completely screwed up the font size on my tabs and w/in the browser. I had to reinstall the theme font and size changer add-on because 45 rendered it useless. The font size on the tabs was so small, I could barely read it. Once I added theme font & size changer back, the tab fonts are great, but the font size now varies from website to website - something its never done before & it also distorts the actual website size.

I would appreciate help getting my font size consistent from website to website w/o losing the larger font size for my tabs.

PS, every time I update FF, it messes something up that requires me to either have to reinstall an already existing add-on or find a new add-on to put FF back to the way that is easiest for me to us. *sigh*

When I restarted FF, not only didn't it save all my tabs, but it also opened a couple of tabs to tabs I'd closed out at least a day prior. So, its memory of history seems a little off.

Did you set the global zoom in the Theme Font & Size Changer extension?

You can look at the Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

Things just keep getting weirder! I just discovered I have THREE FF browsers open. One has the original tabs I had open before updating. One has some of the same tabs & some tabs that were open a few days ago. And one has tabs from over a week ago!

I did not open a 2nd or 3rd browser. And in the past, if I did, it only opened to one tab.

I've never seen anything like this before...

I don't see the global zoom. That's why I reinstalled. Still don't see it. I I already had no squint installed and it doesn't work either. I guess I'll reinstall that too.

I've had to adjust via the view zoom in/out text only.

Can't help but wonder why I have three browsers open when I didn't open them. fyi, when I updated to 43, a 2nd browser would open each time I opened my browser for the first week. And when I closed it, the regular browser would disappear and not restore my tabs.

I should have said I don't see the theme size font changer icon at all.

Here's what I've done.

Closed the two older "phantom" browsers by clicking the "x" instead of going to FF & "quit." (I have FF set to reopen tabs.)

Shut down computer.

Started computer. Opened FF. Cleared cache. The theme font size changer icon is now back. So we'll see how it goes from here.

I get that FF needs to provide the best protection possible, but it's really annoying to end up having all these other weird things happen every time I update. I can't remember a time when I updated that I didn't have to at least reinstall one of my few add-ons.

I've bookmarked this thread for the future in case In want to add the default full zoom add-on.

Thanks, cor-el!
