Charter.net says my inability to login is a Thunderbird problem (mobile.charter.net)
I hauled my laptop out & decided to bring it up to speed. To use Charter.net (Thunderbird) I had to log in. ?!?! Where is my sheet with passwords & ID's? hmm Tried the Charter pw's & message said not correct for mobile.charter.net... I don't know what that is. I have charter.net. Where does the mobile come from Charter rep said it is a thunderbird issue.
Further, I can't find where I have a password for Thunderbird, or what it is.
Next: My screen goes black after 10 seconds or so & when I am reading something, this is FRUSTRSTING. I do not know where or how to fix that.
Next: I really need to see a font around 14 point with a font I can read. I can't figure out how to make a font & pitch change in Thunderbird.
At 75, I'm not the brightest star in the sky. I am definitely computer challenged. Especially since I sadly allowed Windows 10 to be put on my computer. (that's why I am going to ram up my laptop, I can't live with windows 10!) The computer whiz who usually fixes things is overwhelmed with working on business computers & us homebodies are down on the list. sigh. I'm heading out for a bottle of milk. will be back after lunch. Thank you Kathy Hall

some items.
1. You can revert from windows 10 to your previous operating system. But you only have about 30 days to do so. I have not upgraded, so I do not know the details.
See http://www.howtogeek.com/220723/how-to-uninstall-windows-10-and-downgrade-to-windows-7-or-8.1/
2. Charter provide two email servers. On a laptop that might just be in San Francisco or Holland then the Mobile settings are used as charter refuses connection when mobile unless you use their mobile server. Thanks to the idiot at charter that forgot to tell you that.
3. There is an add-on to make the display bigger. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
Instruction to install here http://xenos-email-notes.simplesite.com/416814616
4. Your screen going black will be it going into sleep mode. See the information and Microsoft http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows7/sleep-and-hibernation-frequently-asked-questions
