Sorry I am having difficulty understanding what you are asking.
Is it only the addons page you have a problem with ?
What sort of things have changed ? What do you mean by
All I get is firefox extensions
A screenshot may help
Have you updated from a very old Firefox from some years ago to the current one ? Or have you just upgraded from Firefox 38 to Fireox 39 ?
Note Firefox tends to update every six weeks at the moment, but often you may not notice visual changes.
This is the screen Much different than the earlier version. I do not like this page. Did I download something incorrectly?
You are apparently looking at a web page from
- addons.mozilla.org
- https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/search/?q=how+to+copy+a+screen&appver=any&platform=all
That page does have a search option on it, and yes; if you use that search you get results with matching addons or extensions. The ordinary address bar in Firefox will work as a searchbar.
Firefox by default has a search bar adjacent to the address that lets you choose the search engine you use See:
That search bar allows you to control what the other searches use, or as a one off use an alternative search engine.
Firefox also has search bars on the newtab page and the home page.
