No sound on any sites using Flash. Sound ok using Internet Exploreer so my PC, sound card etc is working

I have no sound on Youtube or any website that seems to use Flash. Sound ok on BBC website. If I use Internet explorer sound ok on youtube etc so I know my sound card and speaker are working. Have checked all settings but nothing is muted. Thanks

This is a somewhat frequent problem with Shockwave Flashplayer. The quickest fix is to uninstall and reinstall flash using the instructions here: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
