ThunderBird for Linux crashes down automatically every 5 minutes since the last update. Every time I log into my account, about 5 minutes later, I see from the monitoring terminal that ThunderBird's temporary memory usage suddenly soars to over 90%, and then the entire program becomes unresponsive and must be closed and logged in again. But after that, this situation keeps repeating, and it is impossible to use it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I'm on Thunderbird (128.6.0esr (64-bit)) on Fedora/GNOME. I've noticed, that whenever I launch Thunderbird, it takes several minutes (!) where it says "Connecting to mail.myserver.com" in status. I'm using my own postfix/dovecot server with imap and I don't have this problem on Thunderbird Windows for instance, where it connects right away on startup. After the initial slow connection, it works just fine, when I manually trigger to scan for new messages (instantly). I tried literally any option within Thunderbird to fix that, without any success. It seems to be some trouble with resolving / dns or probably ip6/ip4, but then again, why would it work normally after the long connection time in the beginning? Any clue what might be the problem here?

For the last few days, I have noticed when I pause a YouTube video and move on to using other applications. Suddenly the video starts playing out of nowhere, this ghost action is irritating. Can someone please fix this issue?

Dear Team After Updating from 102.15.1 (32Bit) to 115.28.0 (32Bit) I can not connect to the provider "pop.hispeed.ch" anymore. Ping pop.hispeed.ch (on CMD) shows normal raction of beeing reachable with a "reply from xxxx.". I am on Windows 7 SP1. I have checked several times all setting POP and SMTP, switched off Firewall, uninstalled virus scanner, and and and many more (all knowledge found on internet..). Pressing the "Get Message" button in the upper menue bar shows no raction when pressed. The icon "Get Message" on the left side of the button "+ New Message" results in a none moving blue status bar at the right bottom of the window. After a while with the message "timed out.. ".In the settings "Config Editor.." the values of "mailnews.tcptimeout" are set to "300", and "true". I am using TB since donkey years with many many eMails. Are the lost? javascript does not work even though javascript.enabled is true.

Every time Windows 11 shuts down and reboots, a google search produces the same error screen stating javascript is not enabled, go to about.config, set javascript.enabled to true -- which every time is set at true already.

This is a huge pain in the butt!!!!!!!!!!!

Still waiting for an answer to the above question. Why does the page jump back to the top when I want to open a link in a new tab? The link is halfway down a page but when I do a right/left click it jumps and invariably opens the link a few articles above the actual article I want to read. This had been happening for months now and nobody has bother to give a solution.

последний раз, когда удалял, это папка занимала 52ГБ

The browser is not great on some sites. That is that the responsiveness of the touchscreen is not great. They work well using Chrome, but not using Firefox. I am trying to steer away from Google, and this makes the decision difficult sometimes.

When responding to Mails, I often get error messages, that GMX server can't be reached. These emails remain in outbox forever and are also not processed later. If a fresh mail is created afterwards, it is sent immediately without any flaws. Unfortunately the earlier response mail is not processed also then.

Any suggestions?

When I hit the back button on my device (not within the app), it takes me to the page before the last one.

For instance, if I search for cricket and then look up baseball, selecting a link from the baseball search, pressing back takes me to the cricket search results instead of back to baseball. This is quite frustrating because I have to search for baseball again and choose another link.

I also noticed that when I click the forward button in the app, it jumps to the last link I visited, bypassing the link I opened in between.

For several weeks now, I have been unable to upload videos to a group in Facebook using Firefox. Previously, I posted a video almost daily. The loading wheel keeps spinning. This in Windows 11 Pro version 24H2 with Firefox 135.0 (64 bits).

I want links that I open (in Firefox, from Firefox, like opening any normal link) to open in the same tab (unless otherwise specific, like a normal browser should work), and all links from other applications to open in a new tab.

Whenever I click a link, it overrides my current tab, even if I'm working on something important. Apps do not always make it obvious what might be a URL. Windows for instance LOVES to open up "support" links in your browser. Firefox also does this itself with its update function, it opens up its update notification by overwriting your previous tab.

This is a really, really basic feature that should really be a default setting, but it doesn't seem to exist in settings at all.

i want to look through ad pictures on ebay but firefox keeps stopping me opening new pictures for the same ad, if i open an ad initially it lets me view each picture then it starts blocking them, so that i can only view the main picture, its really annoying and i'll have to stop using firefox if it continues because it makes buying on ebay impossible and it's also doing similar things on other sites, i've reset the advanced tracking to standard and added an exemption for ebay but its still doing it ?????
