lorsque j'envoie un mail par mon compte aol, celui ci figure aussi sur les messages envoyés gmail. Je souhaite qu'ils ne paraissent que sur la messagerie d'envoi d origine comment y remédier ?

In our organization we have moved from an on-premise mail server to M365. We've also added our new EWS-based accounts to Thunderbird. Since there are a large number of users with a significant amount of older mails they want to have access to, they have been asking how they could upload them to EWS now.

From the looks of it, using TB one can either drag and drop messages from the local folders to EWS. Would message copy/move from the local folders be faster if the EWS account was setup over IMAP, instead of over EWS? If so, we could setup another account corresponding to the same EWS identity, but over IMAP, just for the purposes of transferring messages faster.

I use earthlink.net (28yrs) with Thunderbird. I set up a second account (name123@earthlink.net) which somehow became my primary account. It accesses fine, but my major account (name@earthlink.net) asks for password which I don't know and can't find using tools, account settings etc. This just started and I typically get 50 emails per day and cannot access. I can access X@earthlink.net

The https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-and-yahoo article is ambiguous. Does mailnews.oauth.usePrivateBrowser only need to be set to true if you have 2 accounts from the (Yahoo, AOL, ATT) set? Or if you have any 2 accounts, including, for instance, 1 Yahoo! account and 1 Gmail account?

Bonjour je n'arrive plus à accéder à ma boite mail à l'ouverture il m'est demandé mon mot de passe , je l'ai oublié quand je suis la procédure pour afficher mon mot de passe, il m'est demandé un code confidentiel que je ne connais pas, comment puis je faire? je n'arrive pas à trouver ou le reinitaliser. et lorsque je tente d'accéder à la messagerie j'ai un message suivant: "echec de la connexion à imap.sfr.fr avec cet utilisateur" je n'avais jamais eu de problèmes jusqu'à aujourd'hui Puis je supprimer le compte de messagerie et le recréer ensuite? mes dossiers locaux et archives seront ils conservés ou perdus? I goofed up today by making a stupid change to one of my manual message filters and running it which added a tag to very many emails according to the filter log. I didn't know how to undo that directly so I figured I would just restore my profile from a backup. So I closed Thunderbird and restored my entire profile folder from a backup of 1 or 2 days ago. Upon reopening Thunderbird, naturally all emails from the last day or two were gone but I assumed they would just re-download. They didn't. I only got 1 or 2 very new emails.

I vaguely recall doing this sort of restore, or go back a couple days, to recover from another mess up and it did re-download the missing couple days.

I was cleaning up my wife's email when I noticed there are a lot of messages unread and in the trash folder that ought not to be. I am wondering how to fix that for her. Example: some amazon.com emails about orders, or emails from favorite merchants or websites.

I have successfully added my primary Google Workspace email address, authenticating through OAuth 2.0. I'm adding a second user, but even though I sign in using the Google popup, OAuth isn't listed as an Authentication method under Server Settings, and no email is downloaded.

I want to know, if Thunderbird works with GMX-Freemail too. Or do I need GMX-TopMail? And if it works with Freemail, what must I look for? For any information I`m glad. Thank you so much.

Have not received email since 2/26, call BTEL my internet service and email, but I'm set up to received Thunderbird. BTEL changed my server name to; mail.[edited]@coastal-link.net, did not help, so we changed it back to ; Imap.[edited]@coastal-link.net..user name is [edited]@Coastal-link.net. Lost the emails I did have and after taking to them for days, they're saying it a Thunderbird problem. Incoming is ; Coastal-link.net Port 993, Outgoing is Port 465. Connection security SSL/TLS

I am trying to set up a visualization of the columns of the main interface. Here's what I do:

1. Click on the list icon in the top right corner.
2. Uncheck the columns I want to hide. Specifically, From (CB), Recipient (CB), and Correspondents (CB).
3. Apply the selection to all folders: click on the icon in the top right corner, apply columns to.. > folders and its children... > select account > Confirm

These actions produce immediate results. However, the next day or a few days later, when I reopen the program, the column display changes. Sometimes in the main folder (inbox), sometimes in the subfolders.

Is this a known bug? Is there anything I can do to keep the desired column configuration stable?

One of my two outlook email accounts no longer appears in Thunderbird, which says it is authenticated but not connected. This happened suddenly. I can still get the messages by going onto outlook.com. How do I get it back on Thunderbird?
