Buenas. Me es imposible arrancar Firefox 155 en Debian 13. Cada vez que lo intento, un mensaje me dice: "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible". En efecto, estuve tocando la configuración de perfiles para migrarlos desde una copia de seguridad y algo debí de hacer mal por despiste. Para aligerar, desinstalé completamente el programa con remove --purge / clean / autoclean / autoremove y lo volví a instalar de nuevo, pero el problema persiste. Es como si quedara algún rastro de la antigua instalación. Desinstalado de nuevo, intenté buscar la carpeta oculta de Mozilla Firefox, que eliminé; pero al instalar de nuevo el navegador, el problema persistía. ¿Qué sucede? ¿Alguien me puede echar un cable? Beginning with September 2026, Mozilla Firefox browser - version 115 - does not work on Win7 anymore, although mozilla.org says that it should work until March 2027. Any explanation or solution? (I won't use Win10 or later versions ever.)

The problem: Version 115 can be installed, but after that Firefox browser does not work at all. Not only as internet browser, but even "settings" cannot be open. It's a dead program.

I installed Maxthon instead of Mozilla, because the Chinese browser supports Win7. This older version of the Windows is still perfect (!) for everything I use: internet, videos, Open Office, etc. However I have to select between ad blockers and browsers. My printers also works on this version of Windows.

When I cannot use Win7 anymore on the internet I will choose Linux instead of Win10 or later versions.

I have noticed several automatic updates in the last several days.

Yesterday, I started my Lenovo laptop and clicked on Firefox to start my business day. Clicked on the icon. Nothing opened on my screen. Each time I clicked, a thumbnail would open (see attached image).

I can right click on the icon. I tried open a new window. Nothing. I tried open private browser. Icon opened, I can see thumbnail, but it did not open either.

I tried to download new Firefox. Same. I tried to delete Firefox from Installed Apps in settings. Then I was asked if I wanted to Refresh Firefox instead of deleting. It saved my Firefox files. Thank you. I followed the steps. Firefox worked throughout the day.

This morning I tried to open Firefox...nothing except thumbnails like in the photo.

Photo has version date for Firefox. Dated yesterday 9.9.2026.

Appreciate your help.

All I have access to is right click on Firefox icon in my tray. I cannot see any settings.

when I went to turn on Firefox this evening, the icon was gone and there was no access to Firefox. The only way I could access the internet was through Safari, which I otherwise never use. This happened 2 or 3 weeks ago but, that time, I was able to find the icon. This time that is not the case.

Firefox stopped working yesterday. When I open it, it immediately crashes. After multiple times of that I refreshed it as it asked. It then worked ok. However after closing it and coming back later, it again immediately crashes. I then tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still does not work.

Anyone succeed with running Firefox in headless mode under Ubuntu?

I tried:

firefox --headless --safe-mode -P headless https://quan.hoabinh.vn

but got this error:

I installed Firefox as from "https://packages.mozilla.org/apt" repo.

I've rebooted, even did a hard reboot, total 3 times, tried system restore, 1 hour past update, deleted Firefox, reinstalled, still "in use", deleted Norton, still same. Reinstalled norton. There NO BUTTON, SWITCH, there! I can File, new blank page, still nothing. Sort of reminds me of automakers, all look alike! Left side, simple, turn on sc or import, at the opening first time, import short cuts and bookmarks from previous page, turn off Newsweek. Simple, without the hassle of now, those that have cleared, happy for you! For me same thing at the top, yellow bar, "in use!"

"every time I try to start Firefox (after it has been shut down for say?15 minuets, may be less ) it just hangs up and will not open my main home page. If I open another browser, Brave or Microsoft they go directly to my home page. If I log off my computer and then back on to my computer then the Firefox browser will open up my main home page. I have no idea what I have done to make this act this way.

Starting on Wednesday, 8/19/26, Firefox ceased working on my Windows 11 computer (it still works on the Windows 7 computer). One possible problem is the 1Password extension I added recently. However, it worked for a few days with the extension with no problem. The other suspect is a change to Firefox. On Wednesday morning when I opened Firefox there was a message that I could now stream games directly on Firefox. It has never worked since I got that message. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do to get Firefox up and running again?

PLEASE HELP! One day last week, Firefox for my PC disappeared and it seems that Duckduckgo has taken over. I have used Firefox on my PC for a few years and occasionally use duckduckgo as my browser. Now I cannot find Firefox. It is up-to-date, as of last week.

My firefox has been acting weird all of a sudden. Usually when I open firefox it loads all my tabs of the previous session and prompts me to enter my master password. But now when I start firefox, it opens for a brief moment and then instantly closes again. When I open firefox again all I get is a new empty window without any tabs, the password prompt also doesn't appear. So I have to manually open my last closed window to get the old window with all the tabs back (so I guess the window that closes instantly was the proper one) but the master password prompt won't show up. I can't access all my saved passwords in the password manager since I'm expected to sign in but when I click on "sign in" nothing happens - I guess the master password dialog just doesn't show up blocking me out of it. The only solution I have found so far is to go to about:support and clear start-up cache data. When it reopens afterwards I get the working window back, with my saved tabs and the master password dialog shows up - everything works. But it only works for this session, when I reboot the computer I have to do the whole issue again. Opening it in safe-mode also works but I need my addons and since it starts after clearing startup cache I don't think the addons are to blame. It just happened all of a sudden, I didn't install any updates or new version prior to the error.

Can anyone please help me? :(

I've installed Firefox on my Ubuntu installation (on USB) but for some reason, it doesn't work. First time i tried opening it, just said it crashed/closed unexpectedly, and all of the other tries i've now attempted, still don't work. Maybe it's because i'm running my Ubuntu on a USB? (sob) I don't really know, can someone help?

hp. Chromebook- downloaded , Crome? won't let it work? try to click, bur courser disappears when it crosses into Firefox?? Is blocked by Gaggle? what do ya'll think?
