Firefox can't connect to www.123greetings.com but Chrome can.

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at www.123greetings.com.

I just downloaded version 140.0.4 for Mac. Now Firefox will not open any website pages. I added Firefox to the list of allowed apps in my firewall settings but that did not fix the problem. Please help. Thank you.

When I use Firefox it removes shortcuts from my home screen (starting from the right) and replaces them with sites that I visit, even if I visit them only once.

I have been to settings, Recent Activity is turned off, Rows are set to 2, and the only other option is Shortcuts > Sites you save or visit.

I don't want Firefox to automatically add visited sites to my shortcuts and remove my saved sites.

I tried to instll the trend extension and I got the same error

Why does this happen? I was even logged in, and my tab groups are gone. Why??? Do I need to use a different browser? And Firefox has had trouble with some websites where the paying portion is not correct. However, if I go to a different browser (Chrome), the paying portion works correctly. I'm getting kinda tired of these weird things going on. Please don't offer a feature that doesn't work like grouping tabs.

Today: Can't access website. I think it is the ISP or the router. Reset the router. No luck. Tried a different device on the Wifi. Works fine. Tried a different browser. works fine. Shut down Firefox. I had 2 browser instances open with several windows in each. Could not restart firefox, as it did not close correctly. I closed the broken instance(s). opened FF again, only got one set of windows, not both sets. The other instance had a bunch of grouped windows, and the groups seem to be gone. I can recreate most of those, but had some windows with ongoing work and things I wanted to look at and now they are gone.

FF crashed when I tried to get some answer from ediblearrangements.com help.

I keep telling Firefox that I do NOT (that's NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!) want autoplay of either audio or video. Why do certain websites keep autoplaying audio? I DO NOT WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please try to comprehend that I do ***NOT*** want to listen to that website's audio!!!

bold text I receive news notifications from mozilla firefox as popups; the dismiss option no longer works so they stay there blocking access to other areas. How do i fix?

I would like to inspect the data that would be removed if I checked the "Settings for Clearing History > Data: Site settings"

From earlier experimentation, I observed that checking that box removes some persistence data that the ChatGPT web site uses, for instance. I also observed that it removes "Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data" that I have entered (not sure why, because it's data I typed, not data that the web sites are saving on my machine).

But the question is what steps are performed on what tables in the current user's profile folder. If not all contents are removed from a folder, please specify what the deletion criteria are.

Something happens to the images when I upload them to any service in the Mozilla browser. Instead of the image I see a strip. There are no such problems with any other browser. Attached is an illustration.

I am trying to install Keeper Password Manager and use Yubikey login. Setting up the Yubikeys with Firefox does not work. I used Chrome to create the Yubikey login and they work with Chrome. I never normally use Chrome, only Firefox. When I try to login to Keeper on Firefox I get an error message instead of the login.

After updated to Firefox 140.0.4 (20250707120347), all site do not load for me, general sites, like youtube/google. There's nothing wrong with my Wifi/Internet Connection, even Microsoft Edge can load the websites.

Hey, So I just updated my Mozilla with the latest update and after I restarted my laptop all my bookmarks, history and favourites are gone. I didn't do any backups manually. It's few hundred important work-related links lost. What actually happened? Can I get them back? Please help.

The TOPIC above is ALL!!! I use AOL for most everything!! I noticed that there would be a "CHANGE", but this looks BAD!!!! I HATE EDGE!!!! I'm 86 and this change is too deep for me. I'm having major problems with Firefox and was able to use it for a long time and I love the software to death. But it has given this problem that I have run into before which the only way I was able to fix it was a full wipe of my computer to factory settings. So with this I started to troubleshoot on what I could do and reinstall was the first and send commands to refresh the dns but I found to what seems to be a startup incomplete file in the Firefox software and it seems to create itself even when deleted. It could be this which is causing problems but all I know for certain that when I click on Firefox it won't open at all or startup. With the only evidence that it responded from task manager or a popup talking about wanting to refresh Firefox for 0.1 milliseconds

As the Subject line says, Firefox will act like it's working normally for a little bit but shortly after using it websites stop loading and no new websites can be accessed. Usually after about 10 minutes. Closing and reopening Firefox restarts the cycle. Works for a bit, then stops. Other browsers like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome work fine.

I've checked my Firewall, deleted and re-added Firefox, made sure it had both Public and Private Network access. Also tried using Firefox in Troubleshoot mode and tried resetting Firefox. Same behavior, made no difference.

I don't see any error messages when this happens. Tabs just spin and load indefinitely with nothing ever appearing in the window. Anyone have any ideas?
