can't read blue screen it disappears too fast, Computer crashes only when scripts enabled (we use NoScript). Works ok on an XP machine.

You can use the Windows Event Viewer to check the details about a BSOD.

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

the BSOD disappears with a restart which i am guessing clears the event viewer

In XP you could disable the BSOD auto restart. I never actually used Win2k but I guess it is similar. At the very least that ensures you see the BSOD before it clears.
