yesterday firefox downloaded an update.when it checked if it was compatible with my addons it wasn't so I decided to do a system restore to bring back the one i was happy with. however then it wouldn't open at all and just kept bringing up crash reports. I can get online through IE so I looked up solutions and from there did several malware checks from several programs eg malwarebytes. they all came back clean. Then i tried to uninstall firefox but it just won't do it- I click the uninstall button but nothing happens. None of this works in safe mode either. this morning i was so fed up that i decided to do another system restore back to several weeks ago. now I don't even have a crash report come up. just nothing. obviously I am a bit of a technophobe and would really appreciate your advice in simple step by step instructions! thank you!
