I've been asked several times to update to Firefox 3.6 but when I click on install, it gets stuck on downloading the update and connecting to the update server. The new update doesn't install.
The software Update window comes onto the monitor, I click on install when asked, but it simply stays on the message that it's downloading the update and connecting to the update server. I've tried this several times without success. There are no other options for me to try in the download.

Try updating manually by going to www.firefox.com

Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder:
Mac: /Applications/Firefox.app/updates
