Firefox recently not opening anymore
ive had firefox for a couple of months and now sometimes firefox doesnt work like it just doesnt respond. when i close the browser and try to reopen it, it just doesnt reopen unless i restart my whole pc this is annoying.. (when i cant restart my pc in most of my situations i have to use old shabby chrome)

Hi bewsy, I noticed that Firefox 158.0.1 sometimes stalled during shutdown. When I tried the desktop shortcut, it routinely displayed a dialog saying I needed to close Firefox before I could start it up again. Fortunately, I'm not seeing that any more in Firefox 159.0 (released yesterday).
I hope that updating resolves the issue for you but, if not, you may want to try this method to ensure that Firefox is no longer running before trying to start it again:
- Open the Windows Task Manager using Ctrl+Shift+Esc
- After the Processes list stabilizes (this can be slow), right-click Firefox and End Task
After you confirm that Windows should immediately, terminate Firefox, you should be able to start it again. Firefox should perform a crash recovery of your last session.
And finally, users sometimes find that Firefox moved to a second desktop. If you press Windows key + Tab key to show the open windows overlay, you can check at the bottom whether you have a second desktop running.
