Download and Open Distinction
I am currently disturbed by the lack of a download feature. For example I have a PDF (https://econ.fudan.edu.cn/__local/9/E1/47/52D80A1D70B1C5EDD15CC5FDA3E_4929A117_AA9BD.pdf?e=.pdf) open, then how do I download that pdf (I know there is a save as PDF option but I want a eleganter way)? Also how do I download the audio when it is presented a dark screen with a player? Simply put, Is it possible to download something by a detector or selector or somewhat?

Hi Ghëescoo Chen,
I see what you mean. You're already familiar with the Save to PDF option, but I can understand how it might not be obvious how to download other types of files, such as audio files.
For now, when you open the file on a new tab (with a dark screen and an audio player), you can tap on the Share icon in the address bar, then Save to Files to download the file.
If you'd like to see a more straightforward downloading experience in Firefox for iOS, I'd encourage you to share your suggestion on Mozilla Connect, our community feedback platform.
Thanks for sharing your feedback!
