All of a sudden, Firefox is using Yelp for web searches/browsing. It used to use Google. Yelp doesn't work. How do I get the default back to Google?

All of a sudden, Firefox is using Yelp for web searches/browsing. It used to use Google. Yelp doesn't work. How do I get the default back to Google?

Hi

To restore the Default Search Engine

  • Go to Menu > Settings > Search
  • Look for the Default Search Engine and from the dropdown menu select Google.

Remove that Yelp if you want

  • Stay on that same Search page.
  • Scroll down to Search Shortcuts.
  • Find Yelp in the list.
  • Click on it and then click the Remove button.
