Some Some text in English after update from 146 to 147 for newly created users

Sirs,

I have Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon in Swedish language/locale. I set up two users with Firefox 146. Then, I upgraded Firefox to 147.0, and set up a third user on the same machine.

For the two original users, the Firefox is in all-Swedish locale. Perfect. But, for my newly created user, some is in English. Examples in English; Onboarding, Search in Privacy, and New Tab/Shortcuts. Web pages is no problem. The problem is in Firefox proper.

Strangely, New Tab is in Swedish (Ny flik), if I do not use the shortcuts, i.e. chose Empty new page in Settings. How to fix? Minor annoyance, but I would like everything in Swedish, as in v. 146. Is it a bug that will be fixed by Mozilla, or do I have to do anything to fix it myself, or is it un-fixable? Or, is it maybe anything in Linux? I understand it is some changes between 146 and 147 regarding a couple of rather important things. Thanks. >>> System:

Try to go to about:support and click the Clear startup cache… button on the right, then restart the browser.

Thanks for your reply. It is appreciated. Sadly, it did not solve my problem. I did clear the startup cache in about:support. However, the problem persists. If I choose 'Firefox Startpage (Standard)', English is shown. i.e. New Tab.. If I choose 'Empty page', it is in Swedish as it should. i.e. Ny flik.. I want to have the start page, and new tabs with shortcuts and in Swedish, but it seems I have to settle for either Empty page, or language mismatch if I also want to have shortcuts.

I did not test with Onboarding, or the search field in Privacy surfing, but I suspect they did not change to Swedish either. I will test more later, but have already wasted time better spent on this problem.

It just feel strange that the two users created before upgrading to 147 works, but not the one created after the upgrade. I should also test with another version of Linux Mint , or another distro, but it is for another day. If any further ideas, please feel free to reply. Thanks again.
