there is no bookmark sidebar button at the right of the address bar

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

THERE IS NO BOOKMARK BUTTON in the version 137.02 that i am using

I am using FireFox since version 2. I Even using it on my android phones. I am convincing everyone that i know to use Firefox

I i cannot get rid of the problem that I have to close more than 35 Left Bookmark Sidebar, I will move to another, more easy to manage browser

mmtronic.com, normally Firefox opens with the sidebar in whatever state it was in in the last window to close.

Have you tried ensuring that the side panel is closed in all Firefox windows before exiting via the file menu (alt+F)?

Or if that fails, closing each window one by one, ensuring that the side panel is closed for each, until all windows are closed?

(Note, that second method might mean that the windows will not auto-open or be remembered at the next Firefox start-up, and you may have to manually re-open them and their tabs)

i made sure that all 42 Bookmarks side panels (in 5 FirreFox windows) were close AGAIN before exiting ctrl+shift+q

and guess what, i rebooted FF and I have AGAIN 42 Bookmarks side panels (bars) opened !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Closing every window one per one and loosing my work set up? NO WAY... If I must do that i will switch browser software and say goodbye to FF that I an using since version 2

FireFox should solve that bug, make it easy for us to configure that browser

Normally the side panel is either open in a window or it isn't. There is no independent open / close state for individual tabs within a window.

If opened in one tab it is now open in all tabs in that window, if closed in one tab it is now closed in all tabs in that window etc.

You can however have different open / closed states for different windows.

Are you saying that if the panel is open in all tabs in a window, then you can close it in tab 3 and it only closes for tab 3? It remains open in tabs 1, 2, 4, 5 etc?

If so, then are you using any add-ons that would affect the side panel? Maybe something that adds its own side panel, or alters one of the existing ones?
