‘I just cleared my cache (MacAir) but now my BookReport app extension suddenly won't load. I didn't change my settings, but I suspect something is awry. What should I be looking for? I already checked "permissions" on the extension.

You need to contact the app developer for support issues using their app. Otherwise remove the app and reinstall again to make sure it works.
