Feedback
Whenever you update Firefox you're lead to a website that lists the changes. It also says you value feedback and recommendations. Yet I've found no way to give feedback, whether in the Android app, the desktop app nor on mozilla.org. I don't seem to be the only one judging by searching support.mozilla.org. Why don't you guys include a standardized way of giving feedback?

Hi,
The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers. If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select Submit Feedback... or use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.
You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

Thanks for the quick reply! While that works on desktop, on the Android app there doesn't seem to be a direct way.
Yup I know. I just didn't realize in the beginning that this support section wasn't meant for suggestions.
when I open google maps the map is good until the labels appear of restaurants, hotels, attractions. Then the hole page get black, bud not the labels.
It is clear as day that Mozilla doesn't want to hear from the average user and know this because they've disabled submissions on the Feedback Page and left this message: "We've paused submissions to this form so that we can improve how we collect feedback."
But the question the OP asked was "WHY DOESN'T FIREFOX MAKE IT EASY TO SUBMIT FEEDBACK?", not who is/isn't a volunteer. The answer is anyone's guess. Maybe they got flooded with messages from disgruntled users asking for features that they have no plans to implement, would decrease security or just so unbelievably dumb.
If that's the case, I can totally understand, but on the other hand, if you're going to only listen to Bugzilla users, you're not going to get an accurate picture of what the average user wants. And if you live in that feedback loop, you run the risk of alienating your base... They upside is that they might produce a powerful tool for pro-users. Mozilla Labs has done it before.
FYI, while were talking about feedback, let me give mine:
I NEVER ASKED FOR 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION and I have it disabled, yet when I sign-in, FireFox still sends me a 6-digit code code to my email address. Stop acting like Apple.

Hi Mac Repair Shop, the old qsurvey.mozilla.com address is obsolete. Did you get that from
Help > Submit Feedback
in a current release of Firefox? For at least six months the updated URL has been in the product (you can view it in about:config):
app.feedback.baseURL => https://ideas.mozilla.org/
That's not to say the new https://mozilla.crowdicity.com/ tool is a panacea. It has a weak search engine, which makes it hard to avoid duplicate submissions, and that dilutes the effectiveness of the voting system. Not sure whether Mozilla can do anything about that or must rely on the platform provider to fix it.

The optional 2FA you can set up on your Firefox Account doesn't use email, it uses an app. You're still using the older method which is considered less secure. More info in case anyone else is interested:
I just realized this thread was originally about Android and I was referring to the Mac version. In Android, there's no Help menu, Help goes directly to the Mozilla Support site.
