Firefox can't decode MP4 / H.264 video on Windows XP because Microsoft never released the Media Foundation components for XP.

Could you try the workaround in the following thread and let us know how you do:

Firefox will not play videos. Sorry, the video you are trying to see cannot be found. Error 5
