trying to download forefox from ie. Having issues after it downloads.

I was having issues with Firefox on windows 7 so i uninstalled it and tried to re-download it from ie and it wont allow it to come up on my desktop after it was downloaded and 'installed'. Did I do something wrong after I thought it was installed. Please help....I hate ie.

Use Win IE to download the current program from Mozilla.org With Windows, run the program and it will install.
