I got those logs by following steps: 1. Press the hello button in a whole new tab 2. Press login 3. The login page shown and using my account to login 4. After login the login page closed, the hello button became red.

Hi, please can you confirm which version of Firefox you are using.
Also, does your email address that you sign in with contain any non-ascii characters?
Firefox: 44.0a2 (2015-12-14)
My email address contains no non-ascii codes. I also tried current released version, but it's the same.
The interesting thing is my friend can login Hello using my Firefox.

Thanks for finding the issue. Sorry I haven't responded earlier the Holidays got in the way.
A couple of questions though, can you tell me some of the non-ascii characters/codes you were using in your display name?
Also, which operating system are you on?
I've just tried reproducing this, but I've had no luck so far.
I use traditional Chinese characters as my display name, such as "刃"
OS is OS X 10.11.2
