How to access Gmail account through Firefox without having to sign in each time?

jbr replied

Every time I select Gmail on Firefox page, it requires me to sign in with a code. I have selected 'Strict' for browser privacy and 'Clear history after closing Firefox'... plus a number of other settings. I then get a notice of someone signing into my account each time, as does the person who I use as a backup to my account. I'd like not to go through that each time I access my Gmail account.

Thanks for the help.

Then you can't clear your data on every exit. At least you'd need to make exclusions for the google domains to persist between sessions. (The options would be under "Custom history" near that checkbox.)
