I tried to share my screen for my test at web https://my.codingolympiad.org/compatibility-test but it always says Screen sharing: Error occurred: getDisplayMedia requires transient activation from a user gesture. I need help with this

Hi, I can't delete any bookmark. I have tried it : on the page, by clicking the star and "remove bookmark" ; in the bookmark list, by right-click and "delete bookmark" ; in the bookmark list, by using the "organise" tab and choosing "delete bookmark". It affects, as far as I can tell, all my bookmarks. I can add new bookmarks, but not delete them. I clean my cache regularly, and my browser is up to date. I use Windows10, in case that is relevant. Voici ma question : Firefox est installé, mais quand je vais dans "Profiles", j'ai le contenu du dossier xxxxxxxx.default qui s'affiche mais pas le dossier !!! Comment procéder ???

De plus "profiles.ini" me semble bien bizarre ...à quoi doit-il ressembler ????

Had to change primary email to regain access (can't remember if I had to add or just swap primary and secondary) So I was able to restore bookmarks from a cloud copy backup. But now I can't login using the old primary email profile to sync passwords. Logging in says 'Must use primary email' but it doesn't have any passwords

Should I back up locally then swap primary email or is there another way?

Some background: Firefox (and many other apps) were running fine, then late yesterday afternoon (but I haven't had time to look at it until now) my laptop started swapping heavily, and after waiting for some time for it to become usable, I gave up and held the power-button down for long enough to make the computer turn off. Then I waited some seconds and pressed the button to turn it back on. Things seem to work, except that firefox won't start normally.

What happens now: When I start it by executing `firefox-esr` from a terminal, it dies (the terminal just displays "zsh: killed firefox-esr"), if I then try to start it again, it open a dialog saying the was some problem (didn't note down what it said precisely) and that I could start it in safe mode, when I accept that, firefox opens with a page saying it couldn't restore my session (it talks Danish) and offers to start a new or restore the session, when I clcik that (I've never known it not to work) it opens windows and tabs that looks like what I had. Instead of spending a lot of time troubleshooting. I thought I would just go for a full refresh, so I found: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

but following that doesn't work! I can follow the first two steps (i.e. clicking the menu and select "Help" and "More troubleshooting information". That opens a new tab on "about:support", but that does not have a "Refresh firefox" button on the right side of the page as described.

The "Copy text to clipboard" button on that page does not copy anything, but the "Copy raw to clipboard" puts the data that is shared below on the clipboard.

hi i got my account deleted by acsident . it was on this email (arash.satan.soul@gamil.com) is there any way to recover my bookmarks and saved passwords ?

plz  help i had that that account for years and all my passwords and bookmarks are on it

Using Firefox browser is resulting in a message that states that Firefox is not operable with mail.fcconnexion.net. Your info is stating that there is a problem with the website. If that is the case then why using Microsoft Edge or Chrome allows access?

Hi! I´m using Jdownloader2. After an update of Firefox the captcha-extension of JDownloader didn´t work anymore. I reinstalled Firefox, but adding the extension is still prevented. Following quote appears: "Firefox hat die Website daran gehindert, Sie zu fragen, ob Software installiert werden soll" It should be in yellow (but it isn´t), like following site describes: https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/Add-ons-koennen-nicht-installiert-werden#w_firefox-hat-die-website-daran-gehindert-sie-zu-fragen-ob-software-installiert-werden-soll Furthermore there should be a button to authorize the installation. Instead there is only the button "OK". I followed the help-site mentioned above to the letter, to no avail. By the way, I´m using Nightly now, but JDownloader2 automatically wants access to Firefox. Would you please tell me, how to add the mentioned extension. Without it I couldn´t download most files! Please answer to following email: [redacted email from community support forum]

Hi, I have been using google sign-in to my Firefox account. I want to create a Mozilla login and not loose all the bookmarks and my setup using the google sign-in. Please could i get advise on the migration of sign-in. Thank you

Canadian provinces of BC, AB, and MB are all moving to new timezones on Nov 1, 2026.

Firefox still does not support any of the new timezones. This will break automatic timezone support for many applications, if not addressed immediately.

For the new timezone: Pacific Time (British Columbia): - Intl.DateTimeFormat().resolvedOptions().timeZone returns "Etc/GMT+8" instead of the expected value 'America/Vancouver' - new Date().getTimezoneOffset() returns 480 instead of the expected 420

There is only a few days left to address this issue. What is the rollout plan for the required updates?

ive just downloaded firefox and its giving me performance issues I play gta 5 all day with my chrome tabs open maybe more then 5 sometimes more then 8 and When I had more then 4 or 5 tabs my gta 5 started to lag when i opened my task manager i see that Firefox is using more then my Game.

I would like to resize my PiP windows without forcing the aspect ratio to be respected. I'd like the option to have the video force fit to my window size if I can.
