Right column on Facebook is left blank

When I access Facebook then, after logging in, I should get a column on the right with the most recent activities of my friends and, below that, a list of those friends which are available for chat. But, since Firefox 13.0 at least, that column is blank when I am using the computer as an ordinary user. If I use it as an administrator, then I don't have this problem. If I view Facebook in IE Tab, all goes well.
