Firefox browser keeps asking me to download app when I try to turn on VPN...

When I click on the Mozilla VPN app icon in the Mozilla Browser it requests that I download something rather than just turning it on. This is recent and I've never experienced it before... I have tried everything I can think of, but cannot get it to work properly...

Hi there, there are two things Mozilla's VPN that you download it and the build in VPN on Firefox that should be in your browser (depending always on your browser). This page can help understanding the difference as well as the countries that the VPN feature is available and where to find it: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/built-in-vpn

"Mozilla VPN" refers to a subscription based standalone VPN app https://www.mozilla.org/products/vpn/ while what you are describing is the built-in VPN in desktop Firefox? though the built-in VPN does not require you to download any app or extension to use it.
